L&J Vehicle Specialist welcome Chris to the team
Chris has been in the motor industry for the past 21 years working for a large local franchise. He started as a young, enthusiastic lad, gained his qualification and worked his way up to the role of Business Manager.
Chris has a passion for classics
Chris has been around cars from a young age as his dad participates in rallying. Chris has always paid an interest in cars and made the decision upon leaving school to gain his qualification to become a fully qualified technician. Fixing every day cars became the norm and it wasn’t long before Chris started looking into the performance and modifications of vehicles, starting with his own vehicle.
Chris has always loved a ford and has owned a few over the years, his current Fiesta Rs which he has owned for the last 14 years. In this time his Fiesta has gone from a standard Fiesta Rs turbo to a track like, light weight, heavily modified, Fiesta Rs turbo producing 405bhp. Chris has rebuilt this engine himself from the ground up including rewiring a mappable wiring loom and ecu to enable the Fiesta to produce 405bhp.
But it didn’t stop there, Chris is always looking into ways of improving performance, durability & chasing those figures from 0-60mph. The Mitsubishi Evo 5 caught his eye and it wasn’t long before he purchased his very own. The Evo, although a quick car from standard just wasn’t enough. After much research and a plan in place the build commenced, with a fully forged engine, a 3582 turbo and a long list of modifications Chris’s Evo 5 is now running a staggering 700 bhp all mapped by Chris himself. This Evo 5 is insane, beyond lively and certainly puts a smile on your face.
Chris is a highly thought of technician in the industry and comes with a great wealth of knowledge and experience. We are thrilled to have Chris on board with us and very much look forward to working as a team.
