When can I use my car during COVID-19?

MOT extension announced by the Government
Last updated 17 April 2020 and will be updated if anything changes.
Back towards the end of March the government announced that your car, van or motorcycle’s MOT expiry date will be extended by 6 months if it’s due on or after 30 March 2020. It does however state that this only applies if you keep your vehicle safe to drive. You might like to read our article on ‘How to keep your vehicle maintained during COVID-19.’
You can check that your car’s MoT has been extended via the government’s MOT history website.
