The owner of this genuine low mileage Xr2I was desperate to increase the performance and power without compromising the originality of the vehicle, with this in mind we built a brand new Ford 1.6 Rs turbo engine uprated to give the performance they were looking for. We used a big valved head Cosworth accralite pistons, Kent uprated cam, bigger injectors and an ecu performance chip. We fitted a T3 uprated turbo, bigger intercooler and stainless exhaust system.
