And just like that it was completed. What a great build this was, this stunning Mk1 Escort was brought into us as the customer wanted us to shake things up a little and rebuild the engine to increase the performance and horsepower.  And that’s exactly what we did.

We completely stripped the original engine and got to work. We heavily modified the entire engine from top to bottom, machine work carried out, uprated pistons, performance cam the list is endless. We also upgraded the front braking system with a Willwood brake kit.

We then headed to the rolling road to get this little escort set up, with a Bhp figure of 190 we couldn’t of asked it to perform any better and still be driver friendly on the road. Strong engine, strong figures. This escort may look suttle but by god is it aggressive. What a lovely piece of kit, and what better feeling then handing it back to our customer for him to finally enjoy.
