This little early 90’s hot hatch came to us with an engine knock. After pulling the engine apart we found that someone had already tried to modify this engine by using a zetec bottom end known as (ZVH conversion) but had carried this out poorly and on a budget. After explaining this to the customer we got the go ahead to re build and improve the original conversion by using correct low comp pistons, steel rods and new ends and main bearings along with a crank re grind and uprated bolts through out. L&J organised for the vehicle to be put on the rolling road to ensure fueling and timing was correct. One bullet proof engine, one happy customer!
